Anshuma Arora Mukkamala
Global People Partner at Marsh McLennan
Anshuma is a seasoned HR professional with over 11 years of international experience in Strategic HR Business Partnering, Talent Development, Inclusion and Diversity, Leadership Development and Employee Wellbeing. In her current role as People Partner at Marsh McLennan, she proactively advises, coaches, and influences global leadership on people strategy, managing talent, and supports them through change management of large-scale transformations.
Anshuma completed her Masters in Social-Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and holds a previous Masters in Human Resource Management from India.
After practicing Buddhist meditation for 15 years, and completing her Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) certificate just before the pandemic, she had an epiphany. Realizing how helpful mindfulness and meditation has been for her to remain calm through the chaos, maintain her balance and improve creativity, she decided to bring mindfulness to her workplace. Since June 2020, she has led numerous mindfulness sessions at Marsh McLennan, helping leaders and employees manage the pressures and expectations of a high-stress work environment.
Anshuma lives in Livingston, New Jersey with her husband and 8 year old son. In her free time, she loves to go hiking, practicing Vinyasa yoga, and gardening in the backyard with family. She is passionate about helping others and is always excited to manifest her talents & skills in service of others. She is also involved in her community as a volunteer for Livingston Neighbors Helping Neighbors (LNHN) and recently got certified as a Youth Mental Health First Aider.
